Free Download The Most Dangerous President in History (Audiobook)
English | ASIN: B0BL1W18FD | 2022 | 4 hours and 14 minutes | M4B@128 kbps | 232 MB
Author: Nick Adams
Narrator: John McLain
President Biden is the most dangerous president in American history. Many Americans still think of Joe Biden as an average guy who supports the working class. But in reality, he has carried out a destructive agenda against our entire system of freedom. He has fully embraced the Green New Deal agenda, along with woke sexual and racial politics, leading to a more divided and poorer country. His weakness on the international stage has created a perilous world. But the danger of Biden goes much deeper than these issues that are hurting us on a daily basis. For one of the first times in US history, we have a president whose motives we cannot trust. In this audiobook, Nick Adams exposes what the media and politicians have been hiding for nearly fifty years. He doesn't just make the case that Biden is the most dangerous president in history-he proves it.

Free Download The Long Discourses of the Buddha: A Translation of the Dīgha Nikāya (Audiobook)
English | May 25, 2021 | ASIN: B0958NW1ZH | M4B@128 kbps | 24h 21m | 1.3 GB
Translator: Bhikkhu Sujato | Narrator: Taradasa
The Long Discourses of the Buddha (Dīgha Nikāya) is the first of the five Nikāyas (Collections) in the Sutta Pitaka and has its own particular character. Unlike the others which contain thousands of shorter discourses (suttas), it comprises just 34 but of much longer length - as the name indicates! This makes it in some ways a more focused collection of teachings of the Buddha and especially accessible in audio. Among them are some important texts distinctive in character and crucial to the early Buddhist tradition. The Long Discourses is divided into three chapters or Vaggas: Chapter on Ethics (Sīlakkhanda Vagga), The Great Chapter (Mahā Vagga) and finally Chapter on Pātikaputta (Pātikaputta Vagga).
Throughout The Long Discourses many different expositions of and approaches to the Dhamma are presented. The Chapter on Ethics (teachings on morality, meditation and wisdom) opens with The Prime Net. It is an absorbing discussion of the many (62!) philosophical speculations which the Buddha declares are not conducive to the main purpose of his teaching to attain 'extinguishment' or nibbana - and are thus just distractions. The Great Chapter has The Great Discourse on the Buddha's Extinguishment (the Mahāparanibbāna Sutta), which tells of the events surrounding the Buddha's death. It is the longest of all the 34 Discourses and in many ways is the centrepiece of the Collection. Also here can be found The Longer Discourse on Mindfulness Meditation, the most extensive elucidation of mindfulness in the Pāli Canon. The whole Collection draws to a close with two discourses featuring Sāriputta - who gives clear and unequivocal listings of Buddhist doctrines arranged in numerical sequence.

Free Download The Kingdom of Prep: The Inside Story of the Rise and (Near) Fall of J.Crew (Audiobook)
English | ASIN: B0B5HVPB6C | 2023 | 13 hours and 29 minutes | M4B@64 kbps | 387 MB
Author: Maggie Bullock
Narrator: Cheryl Smith
A quintessentially American fashion narrative about the rise and fall of the first lifestyle brand, J.Crew, and what the company's fate means for the shifting landscape of the retail industry. Once upon a time, a no-frills J.Crew rollneck sweater held an almost mystical power-or at least it felt that way. The story of J.Crew is the story of the original "lifestyle brand," whose evolution charts a sea change in the way we dress, the way we shop, and who we aspire to be over the past four decades-all told through iconic clothes and the most riveting characters imaginable. In The Kingdom of Prep, seasoned fashion journalist Maggie Bullock tells J.Crew's epic story for the first time, bringing to life the deliciously idiosyncratic people who built a beloved brand, unpacking the complex legacy of prep-a subculture born on the 1920s campuses of the Ivy League-and how one brand rose to epitomize "American" style in two very different golden eras, and also eventually embodied the "retail apocalypse" that rocked the global fashion industry and left hollowed-out malls across the country.

Free Download The Human Predicament: A Candid Guide to Life's Biggest Questions (Audiobook)
English | ASIN: B0BVXD6Y22 | 2023 | 6 hours and 55 minutes | M4B@64 kbps | 187 MB
Author: David Benatar
Narrator: Dennis Kleinman
Are our lives meaningful, or meaningless? Is our inevitable death a bad thing? Would immortality be an improvement? Would it be better to hasten our deaths by suicide? Many people ask these big questions-and some people are plagued by them. Analytic philosophers have said relatively little about these important questions. The Human Predicament invites listeners to take a clear-eyed and unfettered view of the human condition. David Benatar here offers a substantial, but not unmitigated, pessimism about the central questions of human existence. He argues that while our lives can have some meaning, we are ultimately the insignificant beings that we fear we might be.

English | ISBN: 9781803285641 | 2023 | 8 hours and 20 minutes | M4B@64 kbps | 238 MB
Author: Seamus O'Mahony
Narrator: Seamus O'Mahony
A brilliantly witty book about the intertwined lives of psychoanalyst Ernest Jones, surgeon Wilfred Trotter and the guru of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. Welsh-born psychoanalyst Ernest Jones was Sigmund Freud's closest associate and most fervent disciple. Clever, self-confident and intensely ambitious, Jones promoted psychoanalysis as a kind of secular religion. Meanwhile, his intimate friend Wilfred Trotter - a celebrated surgeon who saved the life of George V, and who took on Freud as a patient during his London exile - refused to yield to the seductions of the new Freudianism. A quintessentially English figure, Trotter was unimpressed by slick medical careerists, distrusted grand theories and lacked pomposity and self-regard.
