Description
In this course, our objective is to express the value of building a non-martingale or hedging trading system that exploits predictable market tendencies using the building force of the MQL5 algorithmic trading programming language. The strategy we shall build together in this course is a mean reversion system based on the anti-persistence theory. The anti-persistence theory is based on the fact that price cannot consecutively continue to move in a certain direction infinitely and the more it moves consecutively in a certain direction, the more likely it is to correct. This is because investors have limited capital and their buying activities can be expressed as both bullish bars and bearish bars since when you buy one currency in a pair you also sell another. Hence an end to consecutive bullish or bearish bars may mark the limit of the buying potential of investors, allowing an opportunity for the price to correct back towards its average. This gives us the primary entry logic for our trading system. In this course, we shall also apply ingenious trade management techniques to ensure that we protect any wins we made by making sure that losses don't eat into them. As I said before, we shall not use any martingale techniques in this strategy, ensuring that we trade using safe position volumes that can allow account growth without taking considerable risks. For those that are still finding their way with MQL5, as long as you understand the basics of MQL5, this course is for you. We will patiently guide you through every step of the strategy development process and walk you through every line of code we shall craft. Hopefully, by the end of the course, you will have gained the necessary skills to code similar trading strategies and be able to appreciate how anti-persistence can improve mean reversion strategies. So hit hard on that enroll button now and join me in this incredible journey of coding the Anti-Persistence mean reversion system.
